I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.
I finished Trust with my heart full and tears in my eyes. What a beautiful, unforgettable journey of two human beings that absolutely shatter anything you thought you knew about love. It’s power. It’s resiliency. You have no idea. Not until you read this book.
“I never imagined it could be like this. Not for me. And certainly not with you.”
Trust begins where Take left off. Logan and Tate are forced to deal with the realization of their love for each other. And what it all means. To them and to others. While their love for each other is challenged with life’s obstacles, their love always remains. Ella Frank is truly queen of capturing passion and intimacy in an erotic story. Tate and Logan do not hold back in Trust. While their sexy scenes are the hottest things you will EVER read, they are beautifully intimate and take on such a deep meaning this time around. And yes, if you didn’t think Logan and Tate could get any hotter, they do.
“I’ve never been more sure of another person in all my life.”
If you think you understand the depth of love between Logan and Tate, you are sadly mistaken. Try and Take simply scratch the surface. Their love goes deep. Life tests them. It tests their foundation of their love for each other. Their love is questioned. They are questioned. And then, only then that you truly comprehend their love and all it is capable of. I will not go into details, but just know that what you think you know about love? You’re wrong. THIS BOOK. It goes where love doesn’t go. A place where you never thought you’d ever find love. They love with a love so deep, you feel it. In your bones. In your soul. It will overwhelm you, consume you. The raw emotions in Trust gave me LIFE. To experience such a raw and intimate journey between two beautiful human beings made my heart beat.
“Because before this, I didn’t know you were essential for me.”
Trust was absolute perfection. Flawless. Let’s talk about the dedication, shall we? ALL. THE. FEELS. The writing is brilliant and felt effortless. You live their story. If you loved Try and Take, Trust is going to simply leave you breathless. But don’t worry. Funny, arrogant Logan continues to stay true to character. I laughed out loud. Several times. There is some serious GROWTH this time around. Logan and Tate are stronger. Reading this story? It was a privilege. Meeting Logan and Tate has forever changed my life. Any belief or lack there of I’ve ever had in love in now ten fold because of them.
“After I saw you, there was no one else.”
I would love to give the author a standing ovation for writing a story that truly attests to the truth that love is love. And love recognizes it’s soul in another. Nothing matters. Because love only sees the one it belongs to. Nothing else. If love could speak, it would whisper the names of Logan and Tate. For they loved hard. They loved LOUDLY.
When I first started this series by reading TRY, I had no idea the love affair that would transpire between me and these books and these characters. Logan and Tate have become a part of my life and I truly think that Ella Frank has captured something so amazing with their story. It's SO much more than an M/M erotic romance. It's actually laid out pretty perfectly in the three titles TRY, TAKE, & TRUST-- along with a lot of compromise and sacrifice and even some redemption this third book in the series had me going through every emotion possible. I even read it super slow just because I knew it was ending.
The thing that I loved the most was watching Logan and Tate navigate through new obstacles in this book. Watching them grow and change and develop was so enjoyable and truly made the story complete.
I love that when forced to deal with some pretty awful crap from his mother-- Logan completely shuts down. And Tate mans up and calls him out on it not allowing Logan to be a hypocrite about his "no silences" rule. Logan being bossy is one of my most favorite things, but Logan being bossed around by Tate is a close second. And his vulnerable side makes me melt every time. Tate was freaking amazing too. He really turned on the jets and took charge quite often, not to mention he's quite the risk taker when it comes to sexy time in odd places. Both of these guys had me shaking my head with laughter at times.
Speaking of sexy times. Woahhhhh. This book is so genuinely and originally erotic. When I read Ella's books it's like nothing I've ever read before. The quality level of carnal intimacy is so perfectly done and it screams everything that we've learned to know and love about Logan and Tate. Reading these two together is the perfect euphoric ride. And I'm just gonna say two words. Mirror sex.
I won't ever post spoilers but just know that this book is going to shake you to your core if you are a fan of this series. It is honestly so beautifully written and I'm just so grateful that I got to experience all of it. I think that Ella Frank is something pretty special and I can't wait to see what she does next. If you have questions about this series. DON'T. It is absolutely fabulous.
“What’s wrong with my hair? Are you saying I need to cut it?”
“No, I’m fucking not,” Logan said as he fingered the curls by Tate’s ear. “And you know it.”
“What would you do if I did shave my head?”
“Kill you? And likely get away with it since I have connections to a very reputable law firm.”
Tate chuckled and shoved Logan until he was on his back beside him. “Be serious.”
Logan turned his head on the pillow and ran his eyes over Tate’s full head of hair. Then he returned his gaze to the eyes watching him. “I would quite possibly cry. For days.”
“Over my hair? It does grow back, you know.”
“Yeah, but not for months,” he grumbled. “Can you please stop talking so calmly about this? You’re making me nervous.”
Tate shifted until his long, lean body was stretched out above him, and Logan widened his legs to allow him to settle in between.
“Don’t worry,” Tate assured him as he lowered his head to kiss the corner of his mouth. He then moved those teasing lips to Logan’s ear and whispered, “I like your hands in it too much to cut it off.”
Logan threaded his fingers through the thick waves and asked, “Like this?”
With a groan, Tate rocked his hips against him, and Logan twisted his fingers tighter.
“Exactly like that.”
“Good,” he said as he wound his legs around Tate’s. “Because this way, I can have a tight hold on you when you’re trying to distract me. I’m onto you, Mr. Morrison. Don’t try to use your body against me.”
He almost lost his willpower when Tate, the cocky fucker, placed his hands on either side of his head and rubbed their erections together.
“You don’t want me to use my body on you?”
“Fuck you,” Logan said, knowing full well that, if he didn’t change the subject or get Tate the hell off him, he was going to roll him over and cease talking altogether.
Usually he’d love nothing more, but right now, he wanted to know why Tate had reacted so strongly to his question from last night—well, early morning.
“We need to talk.”
