*I received a copy of this book in exchange for honest review*
Fervent is the 3rd book in the Condemned series by Gemma James. It picks up where Rampant ended. Things have gone from bad to worst for Alex and Rafe with both being kidnapped, and not knowing why.
I have to admit I was a little surprised when I found out that it wasn’t going to be the final book. As I was sure the way, the last book ended that Alex and Rafe had one last fight on their hands until they get their happy ever after.
It's not that I didn't enjoy this book because I did. I loved that it was still dark, intense, painful and twisted. It was another quick read that packed a punch, and once I started, I didn’t put it down. Loved the deep connection that Alex and Rafe have for each other, and with all that was happening their love for each other never waived.
“I’d die before leaving him to face this alone”
"That's what I love about you. I love you for your strength, because I have none. I love you for the way you make me feel, because I feel nothing when I'm not with you."
We do get a few new interesting twists, especially regarding those connected and involvement in Alex and Rafe’s kidnapping. We had insight into what happen to Rafe while in prison, and learn more about Jax.
Overall as I said I enjoy this installment, but I enjoyed the first two more. I was just slightly frustrated because I was originally expecting them to get their happy ever after, but obviously from the cliffhanger ending they still have a way to go. However, with that being said, I’m looking forward to reading the last book I can’t wait to see what Gemma has in store for us in the final episode of the Condemned series. I just wish I didn’t have to wait till August.
If you love this series, then you won’t want to miss this one. But if you haven't started, it I would maybe wait until August so that you can read all four books back to back. So that you can fully immerse yourself in this crazy, dark, angsty, twisted, edgy, violent and raw romance series.
*I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.*
I must admit, shortly before I started this book, I was convinced part three was the final instalment so it was a complete surprise to discover there was in fact going to be a fourth part. I did worry Fervent was going to be a “filler” and in some ways I felt it was. Perhaps because it was the calm before the storm or not as much happened in this book compared to the first two, whichever the reason, it didn’t evoke the crazy range of emotions this series previously has for me.
Rafe and Alex are up against a new unknown enemy and when all is revealed, they learn no one can be trusted. Alliances are tested and help is found in the unlikely of places. Through all of the craziness that goes down, Alex and Rafe’s love never falters and that appealed to the romantic in me!
It had been a while since I read the first two parts of the story so at times I was confused as I couldn’t recall Rafe’s treatment of Alex and what he could and couldn’t remember due to his memory loss, so there were a few blind spots in the story for me. But with that being said, if you are a fan of the series so far then you will want to continue on this crazy path.
I’m really hoping Gemma pulls it out of the bag for the final instalment and it’s just as crazy as the series is famous for.

The chase is over. Right here, right now, this is it. Even if it only lasts thirty seconds, the rush of what I’m about to do floods me and makes me feel. It’s so intense, every muscle in my body goes rigid with anticipation.
The air is sharp and early-morning raw. I stare out from my post on an overhang off Firam Peak. Let my eyes judge the steep drop into the ravine on the backside of the mountain. Jagged granite walls form unpredictable patterns that crash to the bottom the way I will soon, and a light dusting of snow contrasts starkly with the somber stone.
I shake my arms. Not to relieve the tension but to make sure I’m nimble and ready. I didn’t invite my friends, Dan and Marek, along today. I’d be better off with someone else around, of course, but nothing compares to the thrill I experience as I step forward alone. I’m on the edge now, in every sense of the word.
I draw in a breath of icy oxygen. Crack my fingers inside my gloves and adjust the strap on my helmet. I’m ready.
It’s so easy to plunge off the cliff. All I do is heave up on my toes and extend my arms. A light bend at the knees and I’m off, flying.
Ah, yes. I fly.
The wind howls around me. I’m fast—I’ve jumped a dozen times into this ravine so the speed doesn’t surprise me. When we started base jumping, Dan and I would heave ourselves as far out as we could to stay clear of the rock walls during the free-fall. With the velocity you take on, the smallest miscalculation will throw you against the ragged stone, toss you around, and beat you about like a rag doll. It’d be hard to survive.
It gets boring, though, to be careful every time. Which is why, at this point, to get that rush—the woozy bliss inundating my brain for hours afterward—I simply tip off the edge.
The wingsuit I wear is advanced technology. I stretch my arms out to the side, the fabric spanning open at my sides. A familiar sting of disappointment sings through me as I realize I’ll never fly without the squirrel suit. I can’t even begin to imagine the drug it would be to base jump with no security equipment. Straight to death, of course. I chuckle to myself at the thought.
I’m reaching the white ravine floor too quickly. Fuck, I’m lightning fast. The parachute on my back is a click away, but I postpone it, postpone it--
I’m on top of the world!
I’m so fucking alive while I plunge to what could be my last moment on Earth. I curl my body into a somersault and shout my rush out in an echo against the surrounding rock.
Originally from Norway, I moved to the United States twelve years ago. I hold a Master’s degree in languages and taught Spanish at college level before settling in at the Savannah College of Art and Design as an adviser.
I write New Adult fiction, sometimes with a paranormal twist—like in “Shattering Halos,” published by The Wild Rose Press in February 24th 2014 and in “Stargazer,” estimated release date, November 2014. The first book I’m self-publishing is the New Adult Contemporary novel “Pandora Wild Child,” which will make me a proud indie author in October 28th 2014!
I specialize in impulsive heroines, bad-boys, and good-boys running amok. Then, there’s the intense love, physical and emotional attraction beyond reason—sensory overload for the reader as well as for the characters. Like in real life, I hope you’re unable to predict what comes next in my stories.
Yes, so I write what I love to read, and depending on the reader, you’ll find my books to be a fast-paced emotional rollercoaster—or disturbing because the struggles of love aren’t your thing. Here’s to hoping you have the same reading vice as me!

The More Series by Jay Mclean
In one night my fairytale ended. Or it may have begun. This is my story of friendship and love, heartbreak and desire, and the strength to show weakness.
One night I met a girl. A sad and broken girl, but one more beautiful than any other. She laughed through her sadness, while I loved through her heartbreak.
*This is our story of a maybe ever after.*
He was right. It made no difference whether it was 6 months or 6 years.
I couldn’t undo what had been done. I couldn’t change the future.
I couldn’t even predict it.
It was one night.
One night when everything changed.
It was so much more than just the betrayal.
It was the Tragedy.
But it was also that feeling.
The feeling of falling.
"For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction."
For every choice you make there are rewards,
or there are consequences.
It was my choice to walk away the first time.
And my choice to chase her the second.
But sometimes you don't get a choice,
and all you get are the consequences.
"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength,
while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
Unless that someone is Logan Matthews.
Because loving him didn't give me
the strength to walk away.
It didn't give me
the courage to fight for him.
And when it was over,
all it gave me was a broken heart.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us." - Marianne Williamson
We live in a world of darkness and shadows,
where monsters hide and aim to ruin.
And they did.
They ruined us and turned our dreams into nightmares.
But now we're back.
And we're fighting.
Not just for us, or for each other, but for our light.
There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured.
A heart so strong it will never slow.
There is a promise so sure it can never lie.
He promised me that love forever.
Even when it wasn't enough.
Forever. Everlasting. Eternal.
There is no measure of time.
No sounds of the ticking of a clock.
Just the rising and falling of the sun.
And our own sense of forever.
But our forever isn't always.

Praise for the Breaking Free Series
My husband is awesome and also a Chief in the US Navy. This means crazy schedules, uncertainty and lots of nights spent alone writing on my computer.
I have two amazing kids who always know how to make me laugh.
I've been passionate about writing since I wrote my first poem in the 3rd grade and I've been using it as a means to express myself since.
I think because I hold my emotions so close and fear being vulnerable I use different forms of self expression- writing, drawing, painting, photography, tattoos- to show the world who I am.
The one rule I use everyday is the Golden Rule--"Treat others the way you'd like to be treated." I believe karma is very real and sometimes she can be a bitch if you make her that way.
I love acting crazy, I love to laugh, I love making people laugh, I love the ocean, I love dancing like no one is watching, I love good music, I love good books... oh man I should probably stop there. I love a lot of stuff.

Kissing Madeline is a companion novel to DEAREST CLEMENTINE and FINDING DANDELION. Each book is a stand-alone.
DEAREST CLEMENTINE (#1 - Clementine & Gavin):
Twenty-year-old Clementine Avery doesn't mind being called bitchy and closed off. It's safe, and after being burned by her high school sweetheart and stalked by a professor her freshman year of college, safe sounds pretty damn good.
Her number one rule for survival? No dating. That is until she accidentally signs up for a romance writing class and needs material for her latest assignment. Sexy RA Gavin Murphy is more than happy to play the part of book boyfriend to help Clem find some inspiration, even if that means making out...in the name of research, of course.
As Gavin and Clem grow closer, they get entangled in the mystery surrounding a missing Boston University student, and Clem unwittingly becomes a possible target. Gavin tries to show Clem she can handle falling in love again, but she knows she has to be careful because her heart’s at stake…and maybe even her life.
FINDING DANDELION (#2 - Jax and Dani):
When soccer all-star Jax Avery collides with Dani Hart on his twenty-first birthday, their connection is instantaneous and explosive. For the first time in years, Jax isn’t interested in his usual hit-it and quit-it approach.
But Dani knows better. Allowing herself a night to be carefree and feel the intensity of their attraction won’t change anything when it comes to dealing with a player. So when Jax doesn’t recognize Dani the next time he sees her, it shouldn’t be a total shock. The fact that he’s her new roommate's brother? That’s a shock.
Dani doesn’t regret that night with Jax, just the need to lie about it. Since her roommate has made it clear what she thinks about her brother’s “type” of girl, the last thing Dani wants is to admit what happened.
Jax knows he’s walking a fine line on the soccer team. One more misstep and he’s off the roster, his plans to go pro be damned. Except he can’t seem to care. About anything… except for the one girl who keeps invading his dreams.
Despite Jax’s fuzzy memory of his hot hookup with his sister’s friend, he can’t stay away from her, even if it means breaking his own rules. But there are bigger forces at work–realities that can end Dani’s college career and lies that can tear them apart.
Jax realizes what he’s losing if Dani walks away, but will he sacrifice his future to be with her? And will she let him if he does?

ExcerptWith her lips above his stomach, her tears tried to make an appearance, but she fought hard, not wanting them to ruin this moment. His hand pushed aside her fallen hair, tucking it behind her ear as he caressed her cheek and then her mouth. She kissed each finger as they slowly crossed her lips. He rolled them over and stared down at her. Lowering his head, he lightly kissed each closed eye, causing a lone tear to slip down her cheek, puddling by her earlobe. “Open your eyes, suga,” he beckoned her, situating himself between her legs. She felt him hard against her center, waiting, yet she kept her eyes shut. “Look at me,” he ordered again before kissing her lips. Mia finally opened her eyes, focusing on his as he slowly entered her. She couldn’t help it—her eyelids slid closed at how good it felt to have him inside of her. Ethan stopped moving and held her chin between his thumb and index finger. “No, keep them open. Look at me,” he repeated as he pushed himself all the way inside with one swift stroke. “Ah, fuck,” she said on an exhale of breath, loving the way he filled her so completely, so perfectly.

Loss… a word Elizabeth Haddington knows only too well. Despite the tragedies she’s endured, she’s been able to rise from the adversity she’s faced and begin her life again. Being a self-assured and strong woman, she knows she doesn’t need anyone to make her whole.
HHate, pain, and twisted memories are all Sawyer Bryant’s ever known. He’d slowly lost who he was and what he should’ve become. His only escape was the military… Eight years later, as an ex-Navy SEAL, he’s forced to confront his father and their disturbed and violent past.
Then one day, his life is turned upside down, when he glimpses a woman singing in her car at a set of traffic lights. Thinking he’d never see her again, amazingly he finds her performing with her band at the local bar. This chance encounter brings these two lost souls together. Once Sawyer gets a taste of her melodic voice, there’s no turning back. For Elizabeth, when she meets Sawyer… she realizes she’s fallen hard. But is this really love she’s feeling or does love build slowly over time? What happens when fate turns things around on you, creates flashes you can’t turn from… moments that will shape your life?
They are faced with the choice of darkness surrounding them or to rid themselves of the guilt and pain and move toward the light. This story is about life’s moments. How they can make you or break you, and one man’s hope that… Love, won’t judge him.
Sawyer was the first person to not define me by my parents’ deaths. My past felt so far away when I was with him. I could let it go. Let them go. My parents’ faces haunted me every night since that day twelve years ago. I was ready to set the memory free. I felt loved and I wanted him to feel the same. His childhood was dark and I wanted to shed light onto him, fill his heart with the white light of love, evicting the blackness that I saw flash across his eyes when he thought deeply to himself. I wanted him to get better with me. This was crazy. This man, this idea, this night. I loved him and whatever demons he had, my heart was ready to move on to something better, and that was Sawyer.
His breathing became even and I chanced a look at his face. His dark eyelashes fanned down. He looked like an arc angel. I situated myself on my side so that my body rested against his. I placed my head on his shoulder and kissed his cheek.
“I love you, too,” I whispered touching the skin of his cheek with my lips. “I do.”
His breathing stopped and I recognized when I looked up that he would be awake. I lifted up on my forearm and we watched each other in a deep silence.

A sexy novella where things are not always as they appear. Enter the Laid Bare world only if you dare.
There’s something about Lucien Chambers. Something beyond his amazing success, his good looks, and his uncanny ability to turn everything he touches to gold.
In the eyes of the world, Lucien is a sexy and savvy business man. But when a naïve photographer, Dahlia Vaughn, is hired to take pictures of the hot entrepreneur, she discovers Mr. Chambers may be much more than what he seems.
Volume 1 of the Laid Bare novellas
I seriously had no idea what to expect with this novella. I am a HUGE supporter of this author as she is amazing with her words. But a novella? Usually I am not a fan of them. I always want more. Paranormal? Hmmm. Not my usual, but....I am SO glad I decided to read this. It was mysterious and interesting and I am super excited about what’s to come. There is more coming right?
So Lucien Chambers. There’s something sexy and mysterious about him.Dahlia Vaughn is instantly attracted to him and there’s no mistake why. Dahlia has been tasked with photographing Lucien. And she cannot stop thinking about him. They have some serious chemistry. When these two are together, it’s hot. Addicting. You have no idea what is to come next. It keeps you guessing as Lucien is unpredictable. I am excited about finding out more about this...man.
Overall, I found this to be a quick read and am hoping the next installment gets deeper into the paranormal aspect. Who is Lucien? Where did he come from? What is he? I have so many questions. I will definitely be reading the rest of this story.
“Veronica,” I huffed, annoyed.
I tried to spin around to confront my verbal assailant—who also happened to be my best friend and cousin who delighted in driving me crazy—but before I could get my bearings, Veronica’s delicate, slender fingers slid over my eyes.
Everything went black, but the smells and sounds of the holidays were still all around me. Eggnog and cinnamon scents punctuated the air, and the comforting lull of classic holiday tunes filled my ears. But with my sight obscured as it was, there would be no more gazing at the yards and yards of multi-colored, twinkling lights draped from the raw wood beam rafters above me, and no more admiring the sparkling, decorated fifteen-foot fir in the far corner of the large banquet hall the party was being held in.
Prior to Veronica’s interruption, I’d been mesmerized by the tree with its shiny glass ornaments and bright lights adorning the branches. I found it amazing how the holiday glow made all the beautiful party guests look even more dazzling. Glamorous and sophisticated, all dressed in their holiday party finest and milling around, drinking too much champagne, having too much fun. But the glitz and glamour were momentarily hidden from me, thanks to Veronica’s hand over my eyes.
“Are you done,” I inquired. I made my tone sound miffed, but I wasn’t, not really.
“No, and don’t look now,” she replied from behind me, hand still in place.
“As if I could,” I interjected as I shifted from one way-too-high stiletto heel to the other. “So, why am I a bitch?” I continued. “And why in God’s name are you still covering my eyes?”
“First, you’re not really a bitch,” Veronica replied apologetically. “And secondly, the answer to your other question, my dear, just walked in the door.”
Aha! Her answer, not to mention her tone, meant one thing and one thing only--he was here.
New novels slated for 2015 release dates are Inevitable Circumstances (Inevitability #2), more Laid Bare novellas, and a New Adult novel to be revealed in the future.
Author: S. Walden
Genres: New Adult Suspense/Psychological Thriller
Release Date: April 14, 2015
~A lot can change in the space between devising a plan and carrying it out. That space is called the Interim.~
High school seniors Jeremy Stahl and Regan Walters aren’t friends. Not even close. He’s a picked-on, picked-apart loser outcast. She’s a cool kid running with the popular crowd. It’s unlikely they’d ever speak to one another. Too bad he’s madly in love with her. But what does it matter, anyway? He’s got no time for love. Only revenge.
Meticulously detailed in the pages of his battered red notebook is his master plan: April 14, 9:30 A.M., two guns, eighty rounds of ammo, backup knives, eleven victims. He’s finally ready to answer every single taunt, jeer, and flying fist—unwarranted abuse that’s spanned six years of his lonely life. He’s justified. He’s ready. But he never readied himself for her.
Regan finds his journal. She reads it, and when he discovers her intrusion, he has to switch tactics. She’s a liability now.
Better fix that.
(WARNING: This is a New Adult standalone that contains graphic language and violence, including gun violence. If school shootings are an especially sensitive subject for you, then I urge you to refrain from reading this book.)
Do you hear that? That’s my heart beating over this story. Interim is powerful. The words, the characters. Everything. This book simply moved me. I am left breathless.
“...and I wondered what life was like to never really walk on the ground but to glide instead. What it was like to be effortless and confident.”
Jeremy Stahl is an outcast. A nobody. A loser. Well that is how the popular crowd sees him. It’s how he sees himself. He's a victim. To his peers. To his dad. Regan Walters runs with the cool crowd. She doesn’t have time for the likes of someone like Jeremy. Until one day she reads his journal. Every single detail regarding his revenge is in that journal. Plans need to change.
“Metal could slay a flying fist. Metal could silence an ugly word. Flesh was weak; metal strong.”
This story is SO much deeper than bullying as it goes beyond that. It’s emotional and deep. It reminds you of the resilience of the human spirit and that we are all worthy of forgiveness, hope, and most of all, love. That we deserve to receive it just as much as we deserve to give it. Every single character in this book plays a part. You feel Jeremy’s hurt, his pain, his need for revenge. But the author also shows you the other side. How vulnerable bullies are. That those who pick on others, are just as messed up, or even more so. That they are deeply hurting and find solace in hurting others. It’s interesting ow an author can strategically allow the reader to see both perspectives. The bully and the victim. At the end of the day, she shows you that deep down, these are people. And there is power in their choices.
“And I wanted to feel everything at once. And give you everything. And take from you.”
Is there romance in this story? Honestly? Yes. But not hearts and rainbows. Not the fluffy kind. Oh no. That is not this book. Jeremy and Regan are not the usual high school sweethearts. Their love is intense. It’s ugly, it’s beautiful. Their love shatters everything you thought you knew about love. Everything. For Regan to love the boy with so much hate in his heart and for that boy to find love despite that black heart was breathtaking, scary, beautiful. Their love knows no boundaries as the boy who never received love, learned to love harder than anyone. You watch his soul slowly come alive as he’s around Regan.
“Because broken people don’t know when enough is enough.”
The subject matter in this story? It’s heavy. It’s relevant. It pushes boundaries. It’s not pretty. But isn’t that life? We have come so wrapped up in these fairytale fluff stories that as readers we are not pushed. What happened to the time when books actually made you think? But S. Walden? She pushes you. Hard. She makes you come face to face wit the ugly and bad parts of life. It’s raw, genuine, and you feel every single moment. I gripped my kindle. I never wanted to put this book down. I was mesmerized, addicted. Her seamless detailed writing is brilliant. You are not reading the story, you are IN it. I was in Jeremy’s head. I felt every thought, every emotion. S. Walden doesn’t write her characters, she simply breathes life into them. The words of this story will haunt you, but you will be inspired.
Interim is a story I will never forget. This brilliant, heartbreaking, thought provoking story just gave me life. It consumed me. I am overwhelmed just talking about it as I am not sure if I can truly put into words what this story truly meant to me. My heart pounded with each chapter. I was living this story. I held on to every single word. The author is amazing at the art of storytelling. It's as if she purposefully chooses each word as they strategically and beautifully add to this story. Despite the warning on this book, read it. The author is nothing but original in her efforts to truly portray a haunting story on bullying and the choices we have in life that come with consequences. I applaud the author for tackling such an issue, especially with the times we live in today. But that's the thing. This is our world today. We need to embrace it head on if we are to ever to fully understand. what we are facing As I end this, my heart is still beating over this story, and I don't think it will ever stop.
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
What an amazing piece of writing from S. Walden!! I’ve read her books before, and after reading this one I was in complete amazement by how beautifully she scrolls her thoughts on to the page. I want to start off by saying that Interim has some pretty heavy stuff going on and it’s definitely not for everyone. With that being said, I still want everyone to read it.
“Now, I love you because I know you. I love you because I believe in all your goodness. I love you because of the way you make me feel. I love you because I want to.” She smiled. “And I love you because I’m helpless not to.”
This isn’t just a story about a school shooting. This is a story about people. Whether you are a good person or a person with a black soul, you are still a person that had to derive from somewhere. This story moved me in such a way that I have tears in my eyes while I type this. It’s so beautiful and so ugly and I loved every bit of it. This book is about love, and how you interpret that love, or lack thereof. It shows you how people can grow and surprise you every single day. That being kind to someone—even if it’s just ONE person, is the most simple and meaningful thing that a human can do for another human.
“When you’ve gone so many years wanting something, and then you finally get it, sometimes you don’t react appropriately. The feelings are too intense. You don’t know how to handle them. Like being in a manic state, I guess. Out of your mind. That’s how I felt when you kissed me.”
There are so many things I love about this story, but one thing that stood out to me was how connected I felt to the characters. Especially Jeremy, since you get a good look into his head. I was floored by the development that he had so early on in the book. It usually it takes me a while to be so invested, but with the way the Author lures you into his brain it’s pretty hard not to be. He seems so rough and determined and steadfast about what his plans are, but with Regan in the mix everything changes. He feels his resolve slipping and it’s really wonderful to read that in the amazing way it was written. I can’t express how enjoying this was to read just based on the wordage alone.
"Every time he thought of her, something moved in his mind—a cog lifted and slid onto the right bolt. A wheel finally rotated in the correct direction. Wires repaired themselves. Like his mind was healing itself."
I’m not going to even get into the story because I believe that it is a treat all by its self! And one that romance readers from all over the spectrum will embrace. When I first heard the synopsis of this book I was sure it would end up in a controversial spat all over the internet. But after reading it, and falling in love with the characters and writing, I’m almost certain that it will be just the opposite. Every single character had a connection deep to the story and every single word reverberated the feeling of the book as a whole. This was truly a gift to read, S.Walden is brilliant. PLEASE read this book!!
“I love you. I hate you. The pendulum swung. Love. Hate. Good. Evil. Right. Wrong. Victim. Vigilante. Sanity. Slipping."
Not many authors will discourage you from reading their work. After all, the goal of our stories is to grow our readership, not diminish it. I’m well aware of that, but when I first became inspired with Jeremy’s story, I knew I would have to go about promoting it in an entirely different way—something far removed from my past marketing campaigns. I knew I would have to hide the book, stamp disclaimers all over it, plant seeds of doubt in your minds, decline requests for advanced reviews—in essence, all the things an author SHOULD NOT do when marketing her book. That’s why it took me so long to write the damn thing—over a year of worrying, second-guessing, flip-flopping, arguing. Jeremy sat waiting patiently, and I stared back at him wondering just how much he would destroy my career.
Then I remembered that his story is exactly the type of controversial social issue I enjoy tackling. I knew I had to write it because I could. I could be sensitive to the subject matter without being PC. I could leave my political and moral opinions out of it. I could make it a human story, not a gun story. I could do all these things if I worked very hard—if I was diligent and faithful to my characters and their experiences. Once I realized these things, I stopped fretting and just started writing, careful to keep all the details private and sacred. That’s how writing should be: private and sacred.
Now Jeremy’s story is no longer private, but I hope you will find it sacred. I hope you will throw off your preconceptions and bury your social and political views, your moral judgments. It’s too easy to go into a story like this already angry, especially if you or someone you love has experienced gun violence. I urge you to think long and hard before starting Interim if you are especially sensitive to the topic of school shootings. There are extremely violent, descriptive scenes, and I do not wish for my book to be a trigger for you.
I am well aware of the social debate a book like this may provoke. I did not write it for debate. I did not write it to make a statement about guns, gun control, gun access, Constitutional rights, etc. I am not interested in comparing my story to the horrific school shootings that have taken place in the United States. I have no motive other than to tell a story about an abused boy who felt he deserved justice. What you take away from the novel is entirely up to you.
S. Walden used to teach English before making the best decision of her life by becoming a full-time writer. She lives in Georgia with her very supportive husband who prefers physics textbooks over fiction and has a difficult time understanding why her characters must have personality flaws. She is wary of small children, so she has a Westie instead. She is the USA Today bestselling author of Going Under. When she's not writing, she's thinking about it.
