“Will she pick her passion for dance –or me?”

Third Position is the final instalment to Annalise and Raphael’s dance, and I must say it was my favourite of the three. I enjoyed the change in Annalise’s character, gone were the rose tinted glasses and Annalise finally faced the truth and stood up for herself.
“If there’s one thing I’ve learned here in Rome, one thing Raphael showed me, it’s that there’s more. More life, more passion, more to dance than this lonely, cold world of the company.”
The main focus this time was on Annalise and what she wanted out of life, did she take the lead role in Swan Lake and pass her mother’s dream off as her own, or did she take a risk and follow her heart with Raphael? The drama kicked up a notch in this instalment and it worked well, I think part one and two were the calm before the storm and the final book is where it’s at. Annalise took fate into her own hands.
“I’ve danced in the shadows long enough. Now, it’s time to choose my own steps.”
Raphael isn’t Melody Grace’s swooniest boyfriend but he had a lot going for him, he was a sexy Italian dancer, need I say more? It was due to him that Annalise could be herself and have the courage to transform from a naïve, scared girl into a confident new adult.
“I used to think my destiny was set. I thought I knew for sure what I wanted. And then I met Raphael, and everything changed. Because he showed me I was more than I ever thought possible. That we’re more together.”
The Dirty Dancing serial is perfect for a quick, light read. It doesn’t differ greatly from the original version of the story but if you are a fan of movies such as Save the Last Dance then this ticks all the boxes.
If you have enjoyed this serial so far then Third Position is the icing on the cake.

A man dances the same way he fucks. His stamina, his rhythm, the slow grind of his hips. Some people are born to it, others learn through years of careful study.
And dancers? We do it best of all.
The moment I saw her, I knew. Her innocence is intoxicating. My lust is fierce. Primal. To watch her dance is to know the torment of true temptation.
She will be mine.
