Memories are precious, and for Sian Bennett, they are fleeting. On 22 February 2011, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake rocks Christchurch, New Zealand. Sian was there, along with her husband and baby son. What happened that day is a mystery; all she remembers is waking up in hospital five months later, alone.
Two long years pass, and the memories continue to disappear into the black hole that was opened up the day of the quake. Life becomes a perilous journey lived on a tightrope that stretches between the past and the present. Retreating to a lakeside cottage in Rotorua, she shies away from a world she no longer understands.
When Luke Lancaster moves into the derelict cottage beyond the trees, he respects his reclusive neighbour’s silent plea for privacy. Now half a world away from his native North Carolina, he has seen war, misery and chaos. Along with his dog, Geezer, he lives with a few ghosts of his own.
What begins as a fragile friendship leads to a much deeper connection, in which truth, lies, love and pain are intimately bound. Even in paradise, shadows lurk.
A slow-burning tale of loss and love, stoked in the flames of fate and superstition, it is ignited by the power of hope.

Once again, Amanda Dick’s amazing talent shines with her brilliant execution of a moving story about loss, but most of all love and hope. None of her stories are ever the same. Her stories tend to be in a league of their own, and In The Shadow Of Satellites is no different.
Sian is consumed with her loss. She isn’t living. Simply existing. Her past follows her everyday. She is haunted. Luke also has ghosts of the pasts, ones that he’s tried to escape by moving away to a place where he never expects to find himself again. Sian and Luke both battle demons that make life unbearable at times. They exist in a world so dark. So when they meet its as if their souls slowly exhale. Overtime, their hearts aren’t so heavy, their chests feel lighter and their souls seek hope and new possibilities.
"I'm less broken, less damaged. I'm mending."
Sian and Luke. It’s as if things made sense when they came together. They simply fit. Due to past circumstances, they are both left shattered. In pieces. How do you even begin to move on? And live again? But fate aligns them to exist in the same place at the same time. And with time? Those broken and jagged pieces slowly heal. They aren’t as sharp and painful. They become whole. But the heart is complicated. When life tears you back down, can someone truly build you back up again? The author is very meticulous and highly skilled on her execution of this story. Their love is burdened, but their love is also powerful. Beautiful. Overwhelming. Consuming. But most of all, their love heals.
The writing in this story left me breathless. Every word of this book is truly a gift. With her mesmerizing prose and thought provoking storyline, the author truly crafts a compelling and enthralling story full of powerful words. She masterfully tackles the sadness of loss and heartbreak, while balancing the promise of love and hopefulness. Not many authors can do this. They go from dark to light, while Amanda keeps you in the dark while knowing there is always light in darkness. This was definitely a thought provoking read.
In The Shadow Of Satellites is a heartbreaking yet heartfelt and inspiring story. You feel the weight of this story while still believing in love and hope. How love forgives. Love saves. Their souls once captured by darkness are now free. Free to love. And free to live.
The next chapter in one of the most romantic love stories ever told

Crave captured my heart from the beginning of page one until the very end. This beautiful, passionate, intense love story is the epitome of romance. It was the perfect follow up and continuation of their story.
Ian Gregson is a very powerful man. He runs a multibillion dollar hotel empire that spans all over the world. He is obviously very rich, powerful, and desirable. He is married to his work. Always has been. Enter Tessa Lockwood, a new employee to his company. She is much younger than Ian, but he can't help his attraction to her. It's inevitable. From the moment Ian locks his gaze on Tessa he is forever a changed man. Tessa feels the pull towards Ian. And her desire for him does not go unnoticed. They've always had to hide their feelings. With the current circumstances, Ian no longer has to hold back the desire he has for Tessa. As expected, their relationship is challenged in so many ways. But love doesn’t see obstacles. It breaks through them. This is a spellbinding story about two individuals not truly knowing and understanding love until each other.
“Didn’t you know I was lost for my entire life until I met you?”
Ian and Tessa exude electricity whenever they are within the same room. The author expertly balances a brilliant storyline where you are enthralled into a passionate love story, but its the plot that keeps the reader engaged the entire time. Without spoiling the anything, we get to see them on their journey through this new outlook on life and falling in love. We learn that the circumstances they have brought them together. Love isn’t easy, but is anything of great worth not worth fighting for? Isn't love worth that risk?
“I will slay dragons for you, my love, and whatever monsters might try and hurt you.”
Ian and Tessa were only existing when they met each other. Ian worked night and day, tirelessly to continue to grow his business. Tessa worked hard just to stay afloat financially. Both of them just coast through life. Until each other. Tessa awakens the alpha and passionate man Ian has inside of him. She ignites a spark within him that he never knew existed. She changed his life. Ian made Tessa realize that she never knew love until him. That love can be raw, passionate, consuming. That love feels good. That no one is ever complacent in love. You are to live IN love. At all times. Ian and Tessa are no longer existing, they are living.
"My sweet, darling girl. You are the love of my life."
If you’ve read Splendor, you will notice this is just about the same story, however Crave has several new scenes and my love for Ian is never ending. If anything, it has grown even deeper. Ian the best kind of lover. His ability to love Tessa is so overwhelming in the most beautiful way. His love consumes. He loves loudly. Fiercely. He is the ultimate romantic. From the way he lusts after Tessa to his words, his actions, EVERYTHING. His words and feelings towards Tessa simply echo the words of the most beautiful love song. He fills her with nothing but love.
Crave is such a flawlessly written love story. The author has a true talent in story telling. You will not want to put this book down. The story allows you to get lost within the characters and their lives. You become completely captivated in their love. Ian and Tessa’s story is one that will stay with me for some time and I am so excited to see what is come for their future. Love always perseveres. Love always wins.

IN SAVANNAH GEORGIA, THE GARDENS AREN'T THE ONLY THINGS KEEPING SECRETS.
"I want to know what goes on in your head," Adam said. "What do you think about? What are your dreams?"
"My dreams," Savannah said, picking up her spoon and stirring her coffee again. She stared into the swirling depths as if she could conjure up the specter of the girl who once had dreams to spare. "Funny thing is—I got everything I wanted."
Where do you go when you find out everything you wanted isn't what you need?
Savannah Palmerton picks up a brush and heads to an art class, desperate to find a piece of the girl she used to be, before the country club dances and the boring dinner party conversations. In 1963 the country is still playing in her innocence, but there are rumblings beneath the surface. The fabric of America is just beginning to fray around the edges. So it is in Savannah Palmerton's life.
Love, betrayal and family secrets create a lethal cocktail that has Savannah's world unraveling at her feet. Set against a southern backdrop of garden parties and civil rights marches, Paper Castles is a sultry mix of sweet-tea and murder. Sex and secrets.
Paper Castles is the best kind of love story. Where a woman must first learn to love herself.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was my first time reading this author and definitely not my last. She writes with such honesty and grace. I was enthralled with the storyline, smitten by the characters, and was absolutely lost in the words.
“But moments couldn’t be caught. Wisps of laughter, precious seconds when the heart strained against the chest wall, overflowing with emotion-they were gone in an instant.”
It’s 1963. Socialite, Savannah Palmerton has it all. The husband, the kids, and the house. But on the inside? There’s a storm brewing deep within. Her tumultuous and failing marriage has taken its toll on her. She’s lost the strong woman she once was. She decides to take an art class. Painting is something she loves, and believes it will bring a piece of her back. She has no idea that that action would forever change the trajectory of her life.
“Why were you so reckless with our love? Do you know we’re about to lose everything?”
Once tragedy strikes, Savannah’s world begins to unravel. The façade and good wife routine is coming to the surface. For everyone to see. Family lies and secrets are revealed and its as ugly as it is heartbreaking. Savannah questions her love and loyalty. Hers is also questioned and challenged. Despite the heartache and darkness, she finds love. In a place she least expects. One that rises through the ashes. A love reserved only for her. But this love? It’s one that may compromise everything. But isn’t love always worth that risk?
“But if you bare your soul to me, I just might be able to save it.”
There is scene that absolutely moved me to tears. TEARS. I was totally in my feelings. Without going into too much detail, this scene involved Savannah’s nanny/maid, Neenie. As I mentioned before this story takes place in the 1960s. A time of discrimination and narrow minded-ness in our country. While the author brilliantly and so effortlessly captured this heartbreaking injustice, she also reminded us of the beauty and grace in the human spirit. Even at that time. That there were people ready to stand up for what’s right. That love always conquered fear. And just how much a good deed means to someone who was always taught they were a no one. This scene (and many others) have truly solidified her as not only a talented author, but a writer that can truly allow the readers to become part of a story she has masterfully crafted.
“After a storm is when you find the best treasures.”
Can we please talk about the writing? With its highly refined prose, the storyline takes twists and turns the reader never sees coming. It’s a perfect balance of romance and suspense. A story of a woman where life continues to throw situations that make her question everything about her, until she realizes that to love truly and deeply, she must first love herself. This gripping and poignant story is one that I read in one sitting. It was impossible to put down. The author’s voice in this story is unparalleled as she weaves a story with characters that you become emotionally invested in. All their highs and their lows. Her character development is genuine and fascinating, where no matter how big or small, they all play a vital part of this addicting story.
“I want to be the one to save you.”
“Then save me.”
Paper Castles is a mesmerizing and spellbinding story that immediately captivates the reader. It also challenges the reader. This isn’t the normal cookie cutter contemporary romance. Her talent shines in her ability to connect the reader to a story that takes place over 50 years ago. A very different world compared to today. The depth of emotions in this story are felt from beginning to end. I would call this book a game changer for me as it has left a mark on my heart that I will never forget. My love for this story and its characters is palpable. This extraordinary tale left me breathless as I was totally engrossed in this story of love, betrayal, loyalty, secrets, and murder. This compelling story placed me IN to the 1960s. My heart was broken, I fell in love, and I simply lived.
The telling of my story has a distinct before and after quality to it. My life, before, was a love story. A Hallmark movie, with a couple of I Love Lucy episodes thrown in for good measure. Boy meets girl in high school, sweeps her off her feet and marries her. But after 41 years of love and laughter, the bottom fell out with the uttering of one little word: Cancer. A love I thought I'd grow old in, slipped away in the middle of the night. Leaving me to ask, what now?
Thankfully the writing that sustained me through my entire life was there to catch me when I fell. At first I poured it all out onto the pages of my journal. A mix of words, ink, and tears tucked safely between the leather covers.
Here I am in the after part of my story. But the after is also the NOW. Eventually the purging of emotion led me back to another story that had been pushed to the back burner during trying times. Characters who'd been waiting patiently began to nudge and push. It was time to sit down at the computer and let the story be told. Let the healing begin.
When I ask the question, who am I now?... I realize though the road may have changed, I'm still a storyteller.
If it's one thing I know about, it's love. But I'm not interested in simply writing about; boy meets girl. My tag line is: Romance may be pretty but love stories are real. And that's where I want to be when I'm writing...down deep where the real story lives. Because love is messy. And glorious. I want to roll around in a story and fall in love. Want to come with me?

People dream of a love that runs deep. So deep it feels like it's always been with you, just waiting for the person who'll own your heart and soul forever. So few ever find it, but for Rhyson Gray and Kai Pearson, happily ever after was only the beginning...
One of the biggest rock stars in the world and one of the brightest rising stars make a life together. Sometimes it's glamour-filled days and blissed out nights, but it's mostly staying true in the too-bright glare of the spotlight. It's long stretches where the road is lonely and the work is hard. It's living in a love that's the safest place you know even while danger lurks at your door.
Book 3 of The Soul series is an emotionally-charged epic conclusion that had to be told and should not be missed for fans of this series and this couple!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Just when you thought you understood the deep love between Rhyson and Kai, the author gifts us with this. Her words, these characters, their love? They are a testament to love and how love truly bears all things.
“You keep making me fall in love with you over and over and over. When does it stop?”
“It won’t stop.”
Rhyson and Kai have been through so much to get to where they are now. Their love has been challenged, they’ve faced adversity and heartbreak. Through it all, their love has never wavered. Never faltered. Their love simply existed. At all times. In Refrain, they are nothing short of dedicated and committed to each other. But as they grow in love, life has more in store for them. It’s a challenge that their love has no problem facing head on.
“It overwhelms, the privilege of his love.”
Rhyson and Kai’s love and life story is just beginning. And this was a perfect way to truly see just how much these two complete each other. Their love is overwhelming. Powerful. Palpable. And you feel it with every word of their story. Rhyson wants nothing more than to protect Kai. His love is unyielding. He loves with his entire heart. His entire being. His love knows no bounds. He loves fiercely. Loudly. And Kai’s love for Rhyson testifies to the fact that love always wins. The emotions felt in this book echo the most beautiful love song. It is truly a privilege to read a love story like theirs.
“….this love resounds.”
“It’s so loud; so deafingly loud that all I hear is her. And all she hears is me. We are our own refrain.”
The writing in Refrain left me breathless. With it’s lyrical and poetic prose, I felt my heart beat with every word and declaration of love between Rhyson and Kai. The author has this amazing talent to place her readers within the heart and soul of her characters. Her gift of storytelling continues to blow me away. The pacing was genius. Just when I thought I couldn’t fall in love with her writing, once again she proves why she continues to rank as a top author of mine. This book is not one of those where the author simply adds more drama. This story serves a deeply important purpose. It is a beautiful addition to Rhyson and Kai’s story. You know the author put her all into this one from the moment you start reading. Her words take on such meaning. There is power in her words. And that? That is how you write romance.
“Perfect love casts out fear.”
I read Refrain in one sitting. I never wanted to part with with this story. I was simply mesmerized and enthralled by the words and characters of this story. I didn’t think the author could add any more to their story, but she did. Effortlessly. The angst and romance had a perfect balance. The execution of this story demonstrates the unparalleled talent of this author. Refrain was a brilliant and touching final installment to this masterpiece of a book series. I don't think any review can do this book justice. There are no words to describe just how deeply this story and the rest of this series truly moved me. Beautiful and poignant, this is what every love story should be.
“That’s because I save the best parts of myself for you.”
I just can't write about myself in third person for one more bio! I'm a wife, a mom, a writer, an advocate for families living with autism. That's me in a nutshell. Crack the nut, and you'll find a Southern girl gone Southern California who loves pizza and Diet Coke, and wishes she got to watch a lot more television. You can usually catch me up too late, on social media too much, or FINALLY putting a dent in my ever-growing TBR. I love to hear from readers at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Twenty-two years ago, I was cut from a cold, sodden womb, and cradled in the filth and poverty of Chicago’s concrete arms. Statistically, I wasn’t supposed to survive these streets past the age of eighteen.
Fate had a different plan.
I was bred for one purpose and one purpose only: to unleash death and destruction on my world.
My thoughts are power.
My words are weapons.
Evil created me then grace tried to save me. But first… they tried to kill me.
They call themselves the Se7en. They are sin and salvation, and everything we’ve feared from the beginning of time. And their leader is the deadliest of them all.
He doesn’t lose.
He doesn’t compromise.
And most importantly, he doesn’t distract himself with mortal weakness.
Not until me.
Kill one to save a million.
That’s what he told me when he took me as his prisoner.
Kill one to save a million.
That’s what he’s been trying to tell himself ever since he took me into his arms.
I was really excited to read my first S.L. Jennings book and my first PNR! The cover called to me, it's fabulous. It's dark and mysterious and even if I didn't like the story I may still want it for my shelf. Plus I've been watching a lot of Supernatural on Netflix these days so I thought this book would be perfect for me.
I found the first 30% extremely interesting. The story of who Eden is and how she came to be. The mystery and allure of the Se7en fascinated me. I liked where the story of why they needed her was going. But then...it started to move so slow. Drawn out with not much happening. I waited and waited for the situation to blow up. I waited all the way until the 95% mark. 95?!?! That's not a good sign. How in the hell is this story going to wrap up that quickly? I liked where it was going when shit finally went down. I just wished it was resolved in this book. I'm all good with cliffy's, really I am, but I just don't have Patience for laggy stories that drag on. In that case, I'm not sure if I will read the next book to see how it unfolds. I don't see how Legion and Eden have enough to fill another entire book, unless it crosses into another characters relationship.
Maybe there is a different formula to the PNR process that I just don't get, I really have no idea. It was just too slow going for me. I needed something more in the middle to hold my attention. The writing was great, it was very readable and I'm sure if you are used to PNR you'll likely love this book. I think I'll try one her NON PNR books next.
And Don’t Miss the First Books in the Fantasyland Series!
THE GOLDEN DYNASTY
I remembered that look.
I relished that look.
Not only on my Antoine but any lover I’d had (but, obviously, getting it from Antione was far more rewarding).
It was a look I worked toward, putting great energy and imagination into it, losing myself in these endeavors, feeling free of my name, my history, my secrets, my responsibilities, and reveling in my success as if I’d scaled mountains.
It was my greatest talent outside, of course (as any good Drakkar would excel), honing in on any vulnerability and manipulating it for the greatest possible gain—coin, jewels, furs, favors, silence, information, or simply for amusement.
Seeing the look on Noctorno at that moment, I knew Circe too had performed well (admirably well, I might add, considering her dismal past).
I also recognized—focusing on it keenly—what Circe might have missed, or perhaps what Noctorno hid from her understanding, or simply just sensing, how she came to him.
He was not done.
If she had not given indication she wished him out of her bedchamber, he’d still be in it.
Indeed, he might be in it all night, and not to sleep.
He might have been in it, perhaps, for days.
As these thoughts flitted in my mind, I became aware he’d fully entered the room, was stopped not far from my chair, and was standing, chin tipped down, eyes regarding me with a scrutiny that I found so uncomfortable I actually shifted in my seat.
I ceased this reaction the instant I became aware of it, appalled at myself.
Giving something away so easily? Especially something like discomfiture?
You’ve ruined me, I snapped silently at Antoine.
My dead lover had no rejoinder.
“You okay?” Noctorno asked.
“Am I what?” I asked in return.
His head gave a slight twitch before he went on, “You okay? All right?” His voice lowered. “It’s been a tough day, babe, for all of us. Including you.”
I looked beyond him to the fire, lifting my wine to my lips but not sipping it until after I murmured, “I’m perfectly fine.”
“Yeah, right,” he stated, and the disbelief veritably dripping from his tone made my gaze flick immediately back to him.
This meant I watched as he sauntered right in front of me to the chair accompanying mine, threw his lengthy frame in it and reached for the wine at the table that separated our seats.
He also reached for the extra glass.
These were seats, I shall add, that were turned at corners to each other with a small, round table in between, so my knee was nearly touching his.
It was on the tip of my tongue to share that I had not invited him to attend me.
Alas, I became distracted by his long fingers, and the words died in my mouth.
Kristen Ashley grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana, and has lived in Denver, Colorado, and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write. Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multigenerational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland, and Kristen grew up listening to the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon, and Whitesnake. Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music and love was a good way to grow up. And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

Joe Starling is an unapologetic hotshot who is at the top of his game at Perfect Ten escorts. He’s good at what he does and he’s not afraid to admit it. He’s dirty and sexy, and extremely good looking with a good dose of arrogance to solidify his role as top dog. Women tend to fawn all over him, and even though his job is to be just their companion, he sometimes rides that line like a balance beam while trying to avoid the temptation of sleeping with his clients. He’s extremely professional, but temptation has definitely won some of his battles.
This book wasn’t what I was expecting at all, When Joe meets Faith Graham as a new client he is immediately smitten with her, and it’s obvious that his tough exterior will soon be disheveled due to the fact that he can’t get enough of Faith. Faith has some major issues with insecurities about her appearance, and her first glance at Mr. Perfection had her wanting to do a fast sprint towards the hills. Faith isn’t a size two, she’s curvy and voluptuous, and beautiful, but she doesn’t see it that way since she’s been ridiculed by her horrible sisters and mother. So when Joe gives her the googly eyes she’s not only concerned with his intentions, but his mental sanity as well. It doesn’t help that he’s a paid escort, this just adds to her delusion that his actions aren’t real, because he fakes it for a living, giving her the misguided confidence that she’s right.
Joe is so sweet under his Casanova exterior, once he had his mind set on Faith he made it his mission to make her feel worthy of herself and wanted more than anything for her to actually feel like a confident beautiful woman. I loved seeing his transformation as well as Faith’s. They both helped each other get over some hurdles without even realizing it. And I truly believe that is the message that the Author was trying to convey. That it’s ok to be imperfect, and sometimes all you need is that one special person in your life to balance you out.
I love the message behind this story, and to be honest when I started reading I had no idea this was a book about a bigger girl with body issues. I’m so glad I went in blind because it was actually very refreshing and eye opening even to me as a reader, because we all have insecurities about something and I believe this story can open your eyes to the outer world and show you that not everyone sees you the way that you see yourself. And when I was done reading I felt really content and just kind of happy knowing that these things actually do happen in real life, and it’s nice to read a book that makes you feel like that can be true. Perfect Ten was such a nice surprise, full of hot steamy scenes and sweet heartfelt moments that you won’t forget. I really enjoyed this one.
S. E. X.
Say hello to the best three letters of the English alphabet. As I was coming of age, I had as much sex as I possibly could. As a matter of fact, I lost my virginity at the ripe old age of fifteen, only a week after my father died, and to an eighteen-year old senior. After that day, I figured I knew just about everything I needed to know about girls. I mean, hey—an eighteen year old wanted to play with my cock. I figured I’d have the pick of the litter after word of my prowess and my huge cock got around.
Of course, it didn’t quite happen that way. I think I actually got carpal tunnel from jerking off so much. As it turned out, the eighteen year old had only lost a bet. She didn’t want me. She was just the one who lost and had to be a pity fuck for the poor kid whose dad had just died. Whatever the reason, I still fucked her.
Funny thing happened a couple years later, though. I grew about eight inches and then sat back and watched as my shoulders got wider and my muscles became more defined. Six-pack? Nah, I had an eight. And guess what? Girls dug it. But I still couldn’t seem to get the sex thing quite right. Then it hit me. Here I was, a physically great looking specimen of man, but I didn’t know shit about what women wanted in bed. And I didn’t really care as long as I got off. However, word spread about my selfish behavior in the sheets, which didn’t work out so well for me.
My sexcapades weren’t nearly as frequent as I thought they’d be through high school, but near the end, I was learning. I learned to listen to the girls I was with. When I stroked them a certain way and they gasped, I stored that little nugget of information away. And then I hit the mother lode. I tasted my first pussy and, fucking-A, I was hooked. All I wanted in life at that moment was to learn how to conquer that tender little nub that drove girls to grind themselves against my face, calling out my name.
That learning helped me immensely in the next phase of my life.
“That’s it. Fuck, yeah. Just like that.” Christ! Will I ever get sick of getting blown? “Softly now, sweetheart. Oh, yeah, that’s it. That’s perfect.” I watched her lips slide slowly over my dick. I could feel her tongue lick at my balls when she took me in all the way to the hilt. Was there a man alive who didn’t love that?
“I’m gonna come right down your throat. Is that what you want?” She moaned and curled her fingers into my ass confirming what I already knew. She was yet another trophy wife who didn’t get the attention she needed from her wealthy husband. “Ahh, God!” I grabbed a fistful of her hair and moved her head faster, watching her suck me in over and over. “I’m gonna fill your mouth.” I came, thrusting deep into the back of her throat. She gagged on it, and I came some more. When she spit me out, I took my dick in my hand and continued to pump myself until I had nothing left. I was mostly done at that point, but I still had enough left to shoot a couple of hot drops on her parted cosmetically enhanced lips. Lucky girl.
Like I said before, my sex life wasn’t always like this, but it is now. I can pretty much fuck who I want, when I want. Yeah, I’m that good. And no, I’m not humble. If you’re good at something, be proud of it. Own it. Now, before any of you women get up in arms thinking I’m still a selfish piece of shit, who only cares about getting himself off, get the whole story. Talk to one of my dates. They’ll tell you what’s what.
I admit that I might hold their head down on my dick a couple of seconds past pleasant. I might ram into them from behind a bit too hard in the heat of the moment now and then, but ask them how their night was. Besides, there’s a fine line between pleasure and pain. I haven’t had a complaint yet, and this is why—I don’t come until she does. If I can’t make her come, and come hard, before I do, then I’m not doing it right. So, yeah, I’m that good.

I really, REALLY have no idea how to write a review for this book with no spoilers, no matter how small they may seem. The blurb for this book gives nothing away, so just in case...SPOILER ALERT!
Well this was unlike any romance I've ever read before. I see people calling this book profound, I'm not quite sure that's how it was for me. I believe the message was important. I hope that the people out there that need a message like this, read this book and actually GET the message. Learn the lesson. See the big picture.
I hope they can draw on the strength and bravery Lily had. I hope they are as perceptive as Ryle was. I couldn't think of any better way for their story to play out, even though...you know. If you read it, you know. I felt a bit empty at the end though. I certainly needed more. I'm sad I can't have more. Why can't I have more, Colleen?!
It was a great story. It doesn't beat Hopeless, but then I don't think anything ever will, but I really, REALLY liked it.
