Title: Twin Savage Author: Sunniva Dee Release Date: October 16, 2017
Grief comes in many forms. There is no right or wrong way to grieve... Right? Except, what if you douse that grief with sex in ways so culturally unacceptable you leave it to a veritable male harem led by the porn-star brother of your fiancé to decide if you’ll emerge from the jungle intact?Twin Savage is standalone book #2 in the Porn Star Boyfriend series. ✨✨✨✨✨ It wasn't a problem to be the only girl in a house full of guys. Until my fiancé died and his identical twin took over the roost. Sweet, easygoing Julian passed, while loathsome, bossy Luka, who pays his way through med school by getting his dick wet on film, is still alive. What kind of twisted reality is this? Now, Luka’s on a mission to fix both of our grief. Like I’d ever accept anything from him. He doesn’t understand that gorgeous and sexy mean nothing if you’re a promiscuous jerk. If only the nights didn’t destroy me. They’re painful and long and empty, until, on a Monday night, my insomnia attracts Diego. That Tuesday, it attracts Lenny. Next, it’s Marlon, James, Nathaniel, and on Saturday, it’s Connor. By Sunday night, I get the picture. This is Luka doing what Luka does: solve problems with sex. His remote-controlled comfort leaves me in our roommates’ arms six of seven nights. On Sunday, there’s only one man left in the house. There’s no way in hell I’m opening my door—or my heart—to a porn star.

“I wish he didn’t do that,” I tell Lenny as I relax, cheek on his chest, drawing small circles around his nipple. “Luka thinks he’s the king of this place, in charge of everything that goes on here.”
“He kind of is.” Lenny’s voice is lazy. By now, I know he slides into a euphoric coma after he ejaculates. It’s adorable and a tad hot.
“No, he isn’t. Only about the rent and the utilities.”
“And about you.”
I lift my head and squint at him. “Luka is not in charge of me.”
Lenny narrows his eyes too, an easy feat. I ignore how beautiful he is beneath me. “No, but he’s who came up with our solution.”
“What are you talking about?”
He studies me, eyes widening more than usual after against-the-wall sex. “Hmm, you look like you’re working yourself up.”
“What does it matter? Just give me the lowdown.”
“Well, if you’re gonna go witch-nutty on me, I don’t know if I should.”
I lower my voice. “Witch-nutty? What does that even mean?”
“You know. All...” He lifts his hands in the air and waves them lazily while half-rolling his eyes. Not impressive.
“What solution, Lenny, or your sex life has to fend for itself from now on.”
“As if it doesn’t six days out of the week.”
“What did Luka come up with?”
“We had a house meeting.”
“It was about you, so yeah. We saw how you were struggling to keep it together after Julian passed away, and Luka came up with what we’re doing now.”
“As in invading my bedroom every night? Taking turns with me?”
“I guess?” He looks at me as if he just realizes how bad it sounds.
“That’s some crazy shit. Only a pervert like Luka could’ve come up with it.”
Lenny’s brows tick in a furrow. “Well, I figured it was too obvious to work on you, but Luka insisted, we gave it a try, and hey, you went along with it. You seem better too.”
My stomach churns. “Who does he think he is? He has no right to set up some get-’er-done plan for me. I’m in charge of my own life, my own future, and…” I sigh. “Luka’s a pig.”
I mean it. Even though I’m disgruntled, I twist my arms around Lenny’s middle needing his nearness. I’m not exactly backing myself up, here, but Lenny doesn’t hold it against me. Instead he wraps me closer and nuzzles against my hair. Murmurs, “Shh, you’re okay, babe.”
“What about the days? Did he assign them too?”
Lenny nods, rocking us with his chin. “Yeah, which made sense.”
“Why, because you didn’t want to deal with me more than once a week?”
He chuckles. “It was more so that we’d all have our turns consoling you.”
“Sleeping with me, you mean,” I say, feeling slutty and berating myself for it in the same thought.
“I’m not gonna lie and say it’s not a pleasure to comfort you.”
I arch an eyebrow. “So I shouldn’t feel bad for you guys?”
I let out a huh?
“Did you see Marlon earlier?”
I bite my lip. “Yes?”
“That’s how most of us feel the rest of the week. Tuesdays are the shit.”
“Even when I go all witch-nutty on you?”
His grin gleams white. “Have you heard me complain? Sparks are the shit too.”

My name is Cassidy Porter…
My father, Paul Isaac Porter, was executed twenty years ago for the brutal murder of twelve innocent girls.
Though I was only eight-years-old at the time, I am aware – every day of my life – that I am his child, his only son.
To protect the world from the poison in my veins, I live a quiet life, off the grid, away from humanity.
I promised myself, and my mother, not to infect innocent lives with the darkness that swirls within me, waiting to make itself known.
It’s a promise I would have kept…if Brynn Cadogan hadn’t stumbled into my life.
Now I exist between heaven and hell: falling for a woman who wants to love me, while all along reminding myself that I must remain…

As the synopsis indicates, Cassidy Porter wants nothing more than to live off the grid. Away from people where his life has no bearing on anyone else’s. That is until he begins to fall for Brynn Cadogan. Despite their pasts, they are drawn to each other in ways neither can comprehend. This is an extremely character driven story in that the writer brilliantly captures their voices to allow the reader to become embedded in the story itself. These two have been through some imaginable events. And the fact that they could even love as deeply as they do truly indicate the power of their love and all it entails. My heart raced, I simply couldn’t put this one down.
Unloved is a true testament to the incomparable talent of romance writing Katy Regnery truly holds. You will FEEL your heart break for Cassidy and Brynn. You experience, their highs and lows. As well as their feelings of loss and despair. There is a spark between these two that ignites the moment they meet. Neither one ever felt like they could want more in life until they met. I don’t want to give away any details at all. This is one for the reader to truly experience. This story is emotional and beautifully honest. Palpable and gritty at times, Unloved is a definite must read of this year. This profound love story left a mark on me I will never forget.

Beth Caplan is a survivor. Once shattered by a decision that she can never forget, she is determined to enjoy all that college life has to offer. David March is Beth’s brother’s best friend. When he finds that Beth is enrolling at the same college, he makes it known that he will do everything in his power to protect her. To make sure she’s safe. He just didn’t know he’d be sacrificing his heart in the process. While her past comes crashing back, Beth is determined not to break. Not again.
“This feeling- this is what is most dangerous. Because I could become addicted to this.”
David and Beth were like magnets on every page. Every word, every scene, it was simply electricity flowing through the story. While their relationship is seen as off-limits, that did nothing to take away from the fact of how drawn these two were to each other. My heart raced as I felt each intense emotion of their desire. Completely enthralled by the depth of their story, you can’t help but feel that Beth and David were simply magic on the pages. There was a push and pull that kept me inherently invested in their triumphs and their times of heartbreak. This. Will. Move. You.
“Do you know that I love you?”
Despite being off limits, David’s love rebelled against anything logical. He pursued her heart in the only way he could, by guarding it. He loved in silence. In secret. But his love was no less felt. Loving Beth could cost him so much, yet the thought of not loving her was never really an option. It was so much more than the typical brother’s best friend romance. When loving someone, you abandon all regard and everything that comes with them. It reminds you that love can come at a price, but it’s worth the cost.
“It’s imprinted into every goddammned day of my life, every fucking thought – caring about you more than I should.”
Ms. Pearl is a master of crafting stories that speak for the voiceless. For those that live in silence. She writes their stories with a grace and understanding in a way that very few are capable of. Inspiring in it’s execution, thought provoking in its unraveling, there are not enough stars to truly capture the magnitude of the sheer beauty and bravery this story holds. Bewitched by the devastating beauty of the author’s romantic and refined prose, I was absolutely lost in the story of David and Beth. I never wanted to put this one down! Palpable, meticulously written, In Pieces is love in its most powerful form.

His wit and unapologetic idealism disarm and spark renewed life into her—until she discovers that he’s completely unavailable. “Don’t make your presence known. Make your absence felt.”
As the synopsis indicates, the Voss family is far from ordinary. Merit Voss is simply lost within the chaos of her own house. Under the heaviness of secrets and the brokenness of her home, she’s voiceless. Until Sagan comes roaring into her life. Merit doesn’t care about much inlife. But Sagan changes that. Too bad he’s not hers to have. But when everything comes to a point of no return, Merit learns that the secrets she threatens to reveal come with consequences.
“Not every mistake deserves a consequence. Sometimes the only thing a mistake deserves is forgiveness.”
The writing was absolutely mesmerizing. It was honest. Raw. Nothing was held back as you learned about Merit and her family. It was heavy at times, quirky and odd at others. The depth of the story, the characters will sit with me for a long time to come. My heart was heavy, yet so full at the same time. I was absolutely blown away by the magnitude of the impact this story really had on me. It’s so much more than YA. It gives a voice to the forgotten. Even in Merit’s silence, her pain and her want for life spoke so loudly. The words poetic. The storyline, inspiring and thought provoking. There are no words that could adequately describe the importance of a story like this in today’s society. Gone are the days where we fit in boxes. Despite our circumstance, we are all worthy of love, forgiveness, and most of all understanding.
“Your emotions are valid, Merit. Don’t let anyone tell you any different. You’re the only one who feels them.”
Without Merit is not the book you expect, but it’s the book you certainly need to read. It’s not your typical Colleen book as you will have problems with Merit. She’s flawed yet you can’t help but want to know her story. At the same time, it is a Colleen book as it is written with truth. Unapologetically. She weaves you through a story of a family (and friends) with secrets I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. Her writing is unfiltered in that she never abandons the authenticity of the characters and their discourse. Poignant and exhilarating, Without Merit is the type of book to leave you thinking DAYS later. About life, mistakes, and how we are all trying to find our way. What a moving read. As Sagan says, Colleen… “You bury me.” Well done!

Once upon a time, a girl loved a boy and he loved her back. They lived happily ever after.
But our story was never that simple.
I loved Josh with all I had, right until the day he left. Now, all these years later, he was backâand wanting me the way Iâd always longed for him. Except now, I belonged to someone else. Someone who never left me the way Josh had. I figured that was the end of our story. I couldnât alter the past.
I didnât want to rewrite my future.
Brianna was always more than my best friend. She was the shining light in my black hole of an existence, and I loved her with every cell and bone in my body. I wasnât good enough for her, thoughâmore the villain than the hero in our fairy tale. When I had to leave, I vowed to come back a better manâfor her. But when I finally did return, she wasnât waiting for me anymore. She had someone new, her very own Prince Charming. Did that mean our story was over? I couldn't change our past.
It was time to rewrite our ending.
Brianna hadnât uttered a single word since we stepped into the truck. Tension radiated off her entire body as she faced as far away from me as possible. I knew she was avoiding me. Our near kiss was too much for her to handle right now. I shouldâve backed off and let her have her space, and I did for a few days. All we were doing was delaying the inevitableâwhether she chose to admit it or not.
âIâm sorry we had to leave so soon. I would have liked to meet more of your friends.â I glanced her way, and Brianna nodded in response, still not looking at me.
âI saw Christal corner you at the bar.â Her voice was aloof but the ticking in her jaw said otherwise as she drew back into the seat.
Sick, my ass. I noticed her glaring at me and Christal tonight. She stared daggers into Christalâs back every time she touched me. She could act as aloof as she wanted. I knew she fucking hated it. My cupcake was in a losing battle with herself. She was going to make herself really get sick if she didnât surrender soon.
âYeah,â I chuckled. âChatty little thing.â
Brianna nodded but wouldnât look my way.
âShe is. Iâm surprised she didnât slip you her number,â she scoffed.
âOh, she did. In fact, she opened with that.â I fought a smile, picturing the wheels turning in her adorable little head.
Briannaâs head whipped to mine. âShe did?â
âWhatâs wrong?â I asked with as much innocence as I could get away with. âYou donât like her?â
âNo,â she offered a bit too abruptly. âI mean, sheâs fine, I guess. You can talk to whomever you want.â
"So, if I take her out . . . you'd be okay with that?â I let Christal down easy and right away, but Brianna didn't need to know that. The prick in me wanted to see how this played out.
"Sure." She shrugged as she turned away from me again. "Do what you want." Her jaw clenched so hard, I thought she was going to chip a tooth as she focused on the Hudson River whizzing passed the car window.
Since we were kids, she had the worst poker face. I always knew the second she was pissed off, and judging by how her chest heaved, she was about ready to blow.
Traffic always bottlenecked around the same exit. We inched until we came to a full stop. I slid my arm around her and leaned in. She stiffened, but unless she jumped out of the car onto the side of the highway, she had nowhere to go.
I nuzzled her cheek. Fuck it, I was going for broke.
"And if I . . . take her home. You'd be . . ."
"Fine," she breathed out, her voice a mix of fury and lust. "Like I just said, do what you want."
I laughed, victorious. "Cupcake," I whispered as my lips grazed her cheek, âyou are so full of shit."
Stephanie Rose grew up loving words and making up stories. Being able to share them with readers is her dream come true. This lifelong Bronx girl loves Starbucks, wine and 80s rock. Her voice often gets mistaken for a Mob Wives trailer.
She married her prom date and has a seven-year-old LEGO obsessed son. She believes there is nothing sexier than a good guy who loves with all his heart, and has made it her mission to bring as many as she can to the page.

Racer, an all-new standalone in the Real Series from New York Times bestselling author Katy Evans is LIVE!!!
It's Brooke and Remy's love child! I could not wait to dive into this story to see what kind of man Racer Tate had turned into. I knew this was his story, and he's his own man, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to scope out the similarities to his BELOVED parents. REAL will always be one of my favorite books because it reminds me of when I started in on this crazy book frenzy, and to see the series come full circle 4 years later is just the sweetest gift.
Lana and her family have a failing formula one racing team and they need a driver, badly. So, she sets out on a trip to find a great driver that's needs a team, her team. Little does she know that a little parking incident would lead her to exactly who she needed, Racer Tate. And guess what? He's cocky, moody, and gorgeous just like you'd imagine him being. OH, and there's a dimple too. The attraction is immediate, and I could already tell these two were going to have some feisty banter. Racer also showed some signs of being quite the gentleman, I knew his parents would raise him well! Those little things made my heart happy.
From the moment Racer saw Lana he felt connected to her. He knew in his gut that this woman had to be a part of his life. This is where the fantastical writing of Katy Evans comes into play. I'm not a huge fan of Insta-love, but Katy has a way of making it feel real and magical all at the same time. It really FEELS authentic, and the ebb and flow of their courtship seemed so organic mixed with all the great and wonderful things that new love should feel like. The fear, the hunt, the butterflies. I loved it!
“I don’t know if I should warn you again to stay away, but what’s the point? I’d only chase you.”
Racer Tate is a force to be reckoned with, and just like his father, when he wants something, he gets it. Racer is passionate in everything he does. He has a job to do and he makes it his priority to be the very best. I love the restraint he shows in regard to Lana, it’s not much but he tries really hard! he's broody but sweet, rough around the edges, yet so charismatic. He's the complete package in my opinion, and dare I say he rivals his father's legacy. This guy will make you swoon hard!
“Tell me it can happen for me like it did for you. That I can find someone to get me. To take me, as is.”
I can't tell you how much I loved these two characters. I fell in love with them almost as immediately as Racer did for Lana. I could not put this book down! I've read other Katy Evans books, and have adored them all. There's something SO different about the Real series, and especially this book. Maybe it's that magical Tate DNA, I'm not sure, but I love it SO much and I didn't want it to end. I could tell that Katy poured her everything into these characters, because I felt it so deeply while I was reading. It was heartfelt and true, passionate and pure. Everything about this book was perfect to me.
"I’d fight death for my crasher. I’d fight my own monsters harder, every day, for her."
The side characters were great like I knew they would be. Of course, we are blessed with the presence of Remy and Brooke, and Racer's sister, Iris. Which had me grinning from ear to ear by the way. But we also get to meet Lana's father and her 3 protective older brothers who I I'm secretly hoping get books too because I’m kind of into this whole racing thing now.
This book was everything I hoped it would be, and more! Whether you’re a fan of the series already or a newbie, you will fall in love with these characters like I did, for sure! And this can be read as a standalone. Of course, I recommend the whole series, but it’s not necessary at all. Katy, thank you for writing this story, I didn’t even know I needed that.
I’m still reeling. While people approach him, he cuts a path straight to me, his gaze penetrating and target-like; making me want to bolt.
His lips do that little upward tilt they do that seems so sexy, and for a second, I feel like I’m lightheaded.
I gulp, and then feel mad at myself for acting like some idiot as fucking devil-Racer Tate reaches me, throws himself into a seat next to me, and turns to look at me expectantly with the most gorgeous grin on his face.
I don’t know what to say.
This guy has left me sort of speechless.
“So … ” I say, staring in the distance at his beat-up mustang, then at him.
“So … ” he says too, in his deep voice, his smile a little more wicked than it was two seconds ago. He glances at my mouth.
Why am I licking my lips?
It only made his eyes narrow and darken.
I open my mouth to speak, failing to find words. He smells like sweat and soap and shampoo, and I feel my traitorous nipples push up to my top again. Why do they do that when he’s around?
“This is illegal,” I state.
His voice is husky from exertion, and his eyes glint with laughter. “That’s why it’s fun.”
I look away from his eyes, trying to focus and clear my head. He leans over and peers into my face, his face shadowed by the moonlight and his jaw now carrying a little scruff. “Are we in agreement?” he presses.
“No.” I glare and shake my head, meeting his cocky gaze. “You’re reckless, Racer.”
“So are you, Alana.”
“It’s just … Lana.”
His brows fly up in surprise. “And a bit of a liar too.”
I purse my lips, still glaring as my gaze goes back to his car. Girls are rubbing against it as if it were him, and I find it disgusting. Why are women always acting so slutty around race car drivers and bad boys?
“You crashed your car,” I say flippantly.
“You crashed my car,” he contradicts, amused.
I laugh, then scowl in his direction. “You crashed it more. I can’t believe you were making such a fuss about me crashing into you when it was just a little kiss—”
He leans in to peck my lips—fast but firmly. “That’s a kiss.”
I lose my breath.
My eyes wide.
He eases back, lips smiling as he comes to his feet and stretches his hand out to take me by the elbow and help me to my feet.
“Let’s get out of here.” He starts walking, leading the way.
“And go where?”
“Anywhere I can get my hands on you.”

VISIT AT THE STUDIO
Luke stands back, nodding once, and links his thumb in a front pocket while the director of Thousand and One Nights shakes my hand.
“It’s nice to meet you, Geneva. She’s beautiful,” Gianni Alexie tells Luka and smiles. Luka lets out a soft grunt of agreement.
I think I expected Alexie to ogle me, but he’s polite, not spending a second on my unassuming boobs and legs. “I can see why you don’t want your girl in the jungle on her own,” he says.
I open my mouth to object against the your-girl part but think better of it. One side of my brain believes they’ll want to pull me into their game if I’m single. The other side explains that I’m an idiot if I think they use un-auditioned women with pro studs they pay big money.
“Would you like to wait in the Green Room?” Mr. Alexie asks, lifting a meaty hand and already waving toward a wiry assistant with a clipboard.
“Oh no, my baby’s here to watch firsthand. She got sick of getting it secondhand through the movies.”
“Oh, of course.” Alexie nods like this is common. “Hal! Grab another chair, will you? Geneva’ll be up close. Up close?” He raises his brows in a question, first to me, then to Luka while I remain quietly shell-shocked.
“You wanted up-close, right, baby?” Luka whispers against my ear. The intimacy of it doesn’t disturb Alexie. He’s perfectly at ease, gaze on our interaction while he waits for the answer.
“Yep,” I say, trying to make my brave-blurt sound believable.
Luka keeps a hand on my shoulder as he leans into the director, murmuring, “It turns her on.”
“Of course,” Alexie answers easily while all the blood congregates in my face.
I’d love to slip out of here in this second, but if I did, Luka would win and he’d have more fodder for his teasing. I fake another smile, ignoring the flames in my cheeks. Luka’s stomach tenses with suppressed laughter against my hip. Oh I’ll get him back. Just wait until the jungle. Mwa. Ha. Ha.
“Well, enjoy the show. We love Luka around here. He’s a true artist and always gives one hundred percent. You should be proud of him.”
“Oh yeah, so proud,” I garble. It seems my expression pulls off sincere, though, because Alexie sends me another genuine smile and delivers a last pat on the shoulder.
“See you at lunch.”

They call him The Mute for a reason.
Hard, cold and calculated, he rarely speaks.
When he does, it’s with disdain.
When he does, his words aren’t meant for me.
When he does, my stomach flips and my world tilts on its axis.
He is thirty-three.
I am eighteen.
He’s a single dad and my father’s business partner.
I’m just a kid to him and his enemy’s daughter.
He’s emotionally unavailable.
And I am…feeling. Feeling things I shouldn’t feel for him.
Trent Rexroth is going to break my heart. The writing isn’t just on the wall, it’s inked on my soul.
And yet, I can’t stay away.
A scandal is the last thing my family needs. But a scandal is what we’re going to give them.
And oh, what a beautiful chaos it will be.

She enjoys the simple things in life, like spending time with her family and friends, reading, HBO, Netflix and internet-stalking Stephen James. Fun-loving professional hockey player Benjamin “Benny” Perry is all about scoring, both on and off the ice. With his good looks and easygoing personality, women flock to him, which is great. It keeps things the way this Las Vegas Wolves forward likes—uncomplicated.
Too bad that’s all about to change.
When Benny decides to get back at his coach by pursuing his daughter, Eliza, who’s just returned to town under mysterious circumstances, complications abound. What begins as a simple conquest becomes anything but when Benny starts to really fall for Eliza.
But something is up.
Though Eliza seems to be as into him as he is to her, Benny senses she’s hiding something.
Or maybe she’s hiding someone.
Benny would never guess Eliza is hiding a baby—her baby. But it doesn’t end there. The father of her child just happens to be a hockey player too. And he’s Benny’s biggest nemesis.
Now he’s joining the team. Talk about complicated!
Complications on Ice is the 3rd standalone novel in the bestselling Boys of Winter hockey romance series.
**EACH BOOK IN THE BOYS OF WINTER SERIES FEATURES A DIFFERENT SMOKING HOT HOCKEY PLAYER'S STORY**
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I absolutely love this series, but this one? It simply blew me away. The meaningful storyline. The unforgettable characters. Once again, S.R. Grey gives her readers a humorous yet remarkable story that is not to be forgotten.
Womanizer, Benjamin (Benny) Perry has decided to go after the coach’s daughter. Eiza. If you think that’s where the complications arise, you are sadly mistaken. Eliza’s sudden return to town is only the beginning of the mysteriousness about her. She harbors secrets. Soon enough, Benny realizes this is more than just getting back at his coach. Perhaps his heart is bigger than he’d like to admit.
Benny and Eliza had a strong and palpable connection. Despite his past, and her secrets, there is an invisible yet underlying thread that makes it hard for either one to deny what they have. I absolutely loved their banter. It came across as genuine. Real. The flow of the story was absolutely perfect as there was never a lull. I was either crying of laughter or so caught up in the storyline, time was never measured. I prefer stories that not only have a great plot, but ones that are character driven. S.R. Grey has this innate ability to allow you to become so engaged with her characters no matter how imperfect they may be. You grow with them. And most of all, you fall in love with them. Benny and Eliza were in no way immaculate characters, but their development was authentic and I without a doubt enjoyed them and their story.
What I loved most about this book is how the author perfectly balanced humor with sincerity. Benny and Eliza are flawed characters, but the author writes them with a skillful and unmistakable voice in which I found that their story easily resonated with me. While this (and the rest of the series) is a bit lighter than some of her other work, she still makes a point to produce a thought provoking and poignant story. Funny, witty, and clever, S.R. Grey’s talent knows no boundaries. Unique in it’s delivery, the storyline will have you turning the pages. I read it in all one sitting as I found it very hard to even put down. Well done!
