*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*
“I’m in the business of Great Exploitations. And business is good”.
After finishing the first book in the series, I was reading Scandal in Seattle less than five minutes later; I had to find out all about Sienna’s next big Errand the one that can change her life, and the one that has brought her back in contact with someone that she thought she would never see again.
”Dicks didn’t work magic. The men behind them did. To date, I’d only known one worthy of claiming “making magic” skill, and that was the same man I hated to hell and back.”
Again another great storyline, which I’m not going to say much about, but yet again I was captivated from the start, it was short, and sexy with some great twists. I couldn’t read it quick enough as we get to learn more about sienna, and who she really is, her real name, and her past.
“Revenge was an odd thing-it could motivate a person like nothing else”
This Errand is personal to her as it all about revenge on Henry Callahan the man who had broke her heart. Henry took me by surprised, as I like him! Yes, I know what he did, but I have a feeling there is a lot more to their story.
“Falling in Love with Henry Callahan was the single most easy and natural thing I’d ever done. In true ying- Yang fashion, falling out of love with him was the utter and total opposite”
I love what Nicole has done to me after reading this next installment. I have so many theories flying around my head at the moment that it driving me crazy. It’s like watching an episode of one of my favorite TV show. I just want to know. So of course I’m off to one – click the next 2 books in the series that are currently available. Again I’m intrigued to find out what is going to happen.
After reading the first book, I said I would recommend you one click this series, well after reading this one I highly recommend that you one click it.
“Henry Callahan. Billionaire. IT business mogul. My Ten. My Errand. My ex. The man who’d upended my whole world. The man I was going to repay in turn.”
At the end of book one, Eve discovered her biggest Target to date was none other than her cheating ex-fiancé. Of course, she had to hide this fact from her boss G so that she wasn’t taken off the case, as Eve only had one thing in mind: pure revenge. If her newest client wasn’t enough to worry about Eve also had sleazy Mr Hendrik to deal with. Believing Eve was barely of consensual age, did not deter him and this drove Eve to finishing the job and ensuring he would have his comeuppance.
In this instalment, we got to know Eve a little better as well as finding out some of her history with Henry. She wouldn’t be doing what she does if it wasn’t for how badly things ended with him. Eve is a smart woman who thrives on control; she makes no mistakes and gets the job done every time. It’s not that I’m for or against what she does as a profession but it makes for interesting reading and I’m starting to like Eve as she’s so sure of herself whilst she does her job.
As the story continues, I’m desperate to know more about Eve’s relationship with Henry, and the fact she has kept their past connection secret from G, makes it all the more tense. I am enjoying this series and look forward to the next part.
