“As much as I should keep my heart in my chest, part of it runs away with him. And maybe that means part of his might be here with me.”
After reading Nyrae Dawn’s Charade, I was on the lookout for some more of her work. I stumbled on Dizzy and thought I would try it. This was a really sweet, fun story about trying not to fall in love with your enemy!
Dylan and Ziah have both sworn off love for different reasons so when Dylan’s older brother announces he is getting married to Ziah’s older sister, Dylan feels his brother is breaking their pact and Ziah thinks her sister is just plain crazy.
Ziah and Dylan are then thrown together and the results are very funny. I loved the alternating point of views. Ziah was a real sweet girl, always thinking with her head and trying to protect her heart. Dylan’s objection to his brother’s nuptials had a deeper reason behind it and when he started opening up it was so sweet.
I loved the mix of Nyrae and Jolene’s writing. This is an easy read and perfect to curl up with one afternoon. It will definitely leave you with the warm and fuzzies :-)
