I fell in love with Liam only to be left shattered into a million pieces. Again. The idea of being without him cripples me but the reality is, he’s gone.
He doesn’t understand and I can’t make him.
If only he’d see the conviction behind my words—then Liam would still be here.

“My world only makes sense since you’ve come into it.”
This will be a spoiler free review as anyone that has read book one knows that with such a powerful ending it must not be ruined for others. I think this series is to be experienced by the reader. Conviction is truly the continuation of Natalie’s journey as she figures out her life and her love for Liam. Circumstances make them question their foundation, but their love always remains. I am in awe of Natalie’s strength and her determination in loving Liam regardless of their situation. So much happens in their story as it continues.
“...sees into the parts of my heart I never knew were there. He’s the clarity in the darkness that brings peace to my soul.”
Liam Dempsey. Be still my beating heart. You are the epitome of love. He loves fiercely. He loves loudly. Despite his underlying feeling of thinking he’s just a consolation prize, he risks his heart. For love is a risk. And Liam knows to leave his heart with Natalie is the biggest risk of them all.
“Loving you is the greatest honor of my life.”
Dare I say I loved Conviction so much more than the first book, Consolation? Ok. I’ll admit it. I do. I found the story to be even so much more captivating than the first. I lived this story with Liam and Natalie. I laughed. I cried. I was on edge. I fell deeper in love with Natalie and Liam. Their love is beautiful. Consuming. Strong. They love with such conviction. They didn’t truly understand the power of love until they loved each other. Liam’s love for Natalie leaves you breathless. But their love doesn’t come easy. Circumstances try to keep them apart. But silly circumstances...the love between Liam and Natalie doesn’t see obstacles. Their love shatters them.
“Know that I love you and every moment you’re away you have half my heart with you.”
The conclusion of this story made my heart sing. This story is so real. Raw in it’s delivery of emotions. You feel everything of the characters. Their anguish, their frustration. You are with them as they battle their inner demons. Everything that happens in this story occurs with purpose. Conviction is a beautiful, inspiring, thought provoking read. Love wins. Always.
