I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Olivia and Luke have been best friends for years. Their close friendship eventually blossomed into love. Luke, a true country boy knows exactly what he wants out of life. He loves his home and could never imagine wanting to be anywhere else, especially with Olivia. But Olivia? She has dreams. Dreams outside her native Georgia. Their lives are completely shifted when both refuse to give up on their plans. Years later, Olivia ends up back home. While she knew she was meant to leave home, it always had a way of pulling her back.
You’ll Think Of Me is so much more than your average second chance romance story. You are immersed in the story from the very first sentence of the first page. Luke and Olivia? They are intense, passionate, and they love with such fierceness. Their love for music is what connects them. Luke, a musician, expresses himself through music. So when life takes a different turn for them, you feel every piece of their shattered hearts.
“All my songs have parts of you in them You just have to listen closely.”
Circumstances allow Olivia to return back home years later. The past and present collide, unexpectedly. Nine years later and the spark between Olivia and Luke could still be felt. The pain caused by their past choices still exist. But that’s the thing about love. Love withstands overtime. You’ll Think Of Me attests to that. Love doesn’t know challenges, it overcomes them.
I found this story to be well written and captivated me the entire time. Simply giving the story away would not be fair to the reader. This book is definitely to be experienced. There are reasons why we make the choices we do as you will see with Luke and Olivia. But love always finds its way back to where it belongs. This was wonderful debut by the author. I look forward to more of her work.
Lucia currently resides in South Florida with her brainy husband and wild kids who drive her up a wall. There's never a dull moment in her hectic world, but Lucia wouldn't change a thing. Luckily she has a strong man to stand by her side and combat the craziness with her. YOU'LL THINK OF ME is not her first book, but it's the first one she's completed and likes. The others will come at a later date.
