Forbidden things are always the sweetest. But once it's not forbidden anymore, will the escapades still be as exciting? Will there be enough true feelings to keep them going? Of course there will be! This is a love story after all!
The way the whole relationship between Ryder and Liese started was hilarious. I would have died of embarrassment. I couldn't imagine what I would do if that happened to me. Not that it would, because I don't have stuff like she does on my computer;) But just in case, I will NOT be bringing my laptop to work. Or letting anyone but myself use it, just to be on the safe side.
Luckily for Liese, Ryder saw this discovery as his green light to set his own fantasies in motion. Everything about this couple and their sexual encounters were in sync and totally hot. Perfectly matched in their sexual perversion, they were made for each other. Communication on the other hand, needed a lot of work! There is nothing more frustrating than watching two adults assuming something, when that's not really the case at all. Why can't you two just call each other AND TALK?!
Helena did a great job with Ryder and Liese. Even though I didn't quite have the emotional connection with the characters, like if they didn't end up together I would have survived. The story line was great and the steam-factor was even greater! And I'm glad Ryder finally manned-up and took care of the table! Furniture breaking sex is the best!
I would have LOVED to share some of my favourite quotes, but as a total failure on my part, my kindle is dead and I can't find my charger. And of course my kindle app on my phone doesn't have my highlights so (I bet you were just dying to know all that, weren't you?), you'll just have to trust me on this one. There is so much funny in this book! Of which I wasn't expecting at all! I'm looking forward to future Helena books to see if she graces us with her awesome humour again. So once again, she has given us another great read well worth picking up.
Helena Hunting lives on the outskirts of Toronto with her incredibly tolerant family and two moderately intolerant cats. She's putting her English degree to good use by writing popular fiction. She is the author of Clipped Wings, her debut novel, and Inked Armor.
