“She’s my fiancée, my future wife, the future mother of my children. Fable is the woman who will always stand by my side. Forever.”
Who can resist another peek into the life of two fabulous characters such as Drew and Fable? I certainly couldn’t and as soon as this book released I dove into reading it. Drew + Fable Forever is pretty much that. It’s about the couple living out their HEA, admittedly with a few bumps along the road but they do get there. Drew and Fable come out stronger on the other side, seriously loved up and happier than ever.
“I need to focus on this girl, this woman who’s about to become my wife. My fucking wife. People say we’re too young, but I don’t care. When it’s right, you know. And I definitely know.”
“It’s a moment I’ll never forget. Etched into my memory for all time. The sunset, the beach, the look in my husband’s eyes, the way he said he loved me.”
I won’t say much about the plot, it’s a continuation of their lives, Drew has to acclimatise to being a football star and with that Fable has to learn how to become the wife of a football star with paparazzi and all. There were a few time jumps and I missed how long that put Drew and Fable together, I understand the jumps were to move the story along and align up with Owen’s story that is coming out next.
I loved the beginning of the story; it was definitely in the mushy romance territory but with this couple having been through so much, they deserved it. The ending of course was great. Drew and Fable came into their own then and of course, Drew got womb clenchingly sexier. The middle slowed the story for me, as I just wanted to get to the main events, although it did depict their real life and genuine struggles so other may not mind this.
“Because we made a deal. Whenever we see or hear that word, the other comes running. I’ll always be the one to rescue you, Fable. You never have to worry about that.”
The famous Marshmallow word popped up along with a few other poems and this added more sweetness to the story. I’m so glad we get to see more of Drew and Fable in Owen’s book as I truly love reading about them. I know there will be heartache to come where Owen is concerned but Drew and Fable are solid and I know together they can handle it.
“He still takes the time to write me a sweet little poem that lets me know exactly how he feels. He’s still in need of the occasional rescue. And I’m the only one who can really save him.”
If you love Drew and Fable then this quick treat will give you everything you could ask for in a sweet, sexy little package.
“Deep down, she’s still the sweet, fiercely protective girl I fell in love with. She’s still my Fable. My story. My life.”
